Rexius Fir Bark for Orchids 

Fir bark for orchids is an exceptionally suitable potting medium for many species, specifically epiphytic varieties. Fir bark will not compact, which ensures adequate drainage and airflow to the roots. It also has a very rough surface which helps orchid roots to anchor themselves, providing structure and support. 

Our fir orchid bark mix is made from heat-treated and sterilized Douglas Fir bark and is available in medium and small chip sizes, in large quantities suitable for growers with a large number of plants. Our fir bark allows for exceptional drainage and airflow to the roots growing orchids and is also ideal for use as a drainage material at the bottom of all pots and planters - not just those for orchids!
